Description Risen Demon

My skin burns
My hands char
My lungs fill with smoke
My muscles ache

I pull myself up
I tell myself just a little further
I can see my goal
I can make it to their world

I reach it
My eyes burn with the sun
I made my goal but what’s wrong
My wings spread, they’re black and charred
I don’t belong with them, and they tell me that

I go back to the mountain I climbed
I stand at the edge
I look back at them
I lean forward
I plunge back to my world

One hand reaches to save me
Can it make it’s goal???
