I drew this today during class.. :3I'm so happy, because I can finally draw ok-looking drawings of Ed! They're not that crappy anymore! And I've finally learned to draw his metal arm / automail thingy without a reference! It's not that hard to draw, really.. :3 I just had a little trouble with his shoulder because it was hard to find good reference images of it, and there were two different versions of his arm, so I chose what I think is the latest version, and the easiert one to draw because it's a tiny bit less details. But I LOVE drawing details! Which is why I'm currently trying to learn how to draw Alphonse
I've also just found out that Edward is WAY more fun to draw than Hitsugaya..
Hitsugaya was fun to draw because he was difficult to draw - I could never get his hair or face right. But that was about it - he was just difficult to draw, which to me was a challenge and I like challenges. But Edward is...not dificult, he's more... complicated, that's it. And I like that, because that's also a challenge ^^
They're both awesomely designed characters, Hitsugaya and Edward. But Ed has suddenly become so much cooler than Hitsugaya.. I have a new favorite character! XD
..at least to draw. :3
Also, yesterday I learned how to draw Deadpool... he's awesome. >w<
But, lol, anyways: this is a sketch of Edward Elric, main character of Full Metal Alchemist. And omg, I just remembered: yesterday me and finished the first season of FMA! it was AWESOME...! ;_; I LOVE that anime...
I don't want to watch the second season, though, 'cos aparently it's just one giant flashback... v.v
And I loved the first season too much, and the ending was perfect so I don't wanna see any more of FMA 'cos I'm quite content not knowing what'll happen next, and I don't like those flashback episodes, AND for once I don't like the japanese version. Romi Park, sorry, you're better as Hitsugaya than Edward.

this is this really well done, the perspective is interesting because not may artist can pull it off this well, his automail is nicely shaded and actually looks like metal. Over all good job!

Wow, this is amazig, not to mention that, to alot of people, it is quite difficult to draw Edward in the original way that Hiromu Arakawa drew him, and I'm truely astonished that you can draw him so well! (and a tad bit jealous

PERFECT expression for Edward... very nicely done. I appreciate awesome art like this, it definitely helped me improve on how I draw Ed... he's a very tough character for me but your sketch gave me some great pointers!

btw, the automail isn't a 100% correct, because I didn't really know how to draw the shoulder and upper arm so I kind of just guessed how it looked like

I think he's hard to draw, too, but I actually love that - makes him more interesting and fun to draw somehow

The shoulder looks pretty good to me... the auto mail is so tough, so many details! I like the way it flows together... each little part takes time to think out and connect that I give up most of the time, but hey, I won't stop till I get it right! Thanks Again!

To me, this is like a paper bag full of candy on Halloween.
Edward was my first favorite anime character ever, and FullMetal Alchemist will always be one of the deepest animes I've ever seen, it actually taught me a lot xD
So I thank you for this wonderful piece of artwork ~
Also, about FMA - Brotherhood, it's not completely a gigantic flashback ( most of it isn't actually, from what I can remember xD ), it just really sticks to the manga, not to mention the animation is cleaner and better xD But can't blame you, I stopped watching it, just don't really know why... XDXDXD

Sheh, I was a bit disappointed with the ending of the movie. I'm glad the brothers were finally together, but to be stuck in such a boring world as ours, and to never see their friends again.... That was cruel.
This pic, on the other hand, is pure awesome! I love how you did his expression, and you did his automail very well. I can't wait to see how you do with Alphonse.

Since I'm not a premium member and everything, I can't do a professional critique on this so!
His face is AWESOME, I love it, I wish I could draw actual anime characters, especially ones from that perspective.
However.
He looks nice and all, but I think his left (or our right) arm looks kinda funny. It's shorter than the other, and it looks to muscley or however you want to describe it.
I don't want you to feel bad, lol, cause it really is a nice picture but you wanted critics so I decided to be one xD
Other than his left arm, everything looks AWESOME 8D *HUGGLES*

i luv it ^^. hard 2 believe its just a doodle. btw, the new fma brotherhood isnt a flashback. they made a new season because the first season became WAY too different from the original manga. so they made a season 2 that acctually sticks with the storyline of the manga. Which i like because the manga story is pretty interesting. did u no in the manga the fuhrer is wrath? weird eh?

not bad x) I couldn't draw eds complete automail by heart.
but the reason why I write this comment is, because you maybe don't know, that the so called "2nd season" of fma isn't a 2nd season at all. its NO continuation of fma1. fma brotherhood is completely based on the manga and has so much more substance, no fillers, much more impact and no plot holes.
while fma 1 was good or rather 'nice' and only based loosely on the manga (I don't dislike fma1, but I don't like it that much either. the reason is, that the characters especially ed are completely twisted.), fma brotherhood is utterly awesome.
if you don't feel like watching a romi paku voiced ed, read the manga. it's even better.
