A private commission I tackled with gusto- I'm a huge fan of the Creature, one of the most successful great movie monsters of all time who, like the Wolf Man, wasn't based on a literary source, unless someone was reading H.P. Lovecraft. The scene with the Coelacanth totally sells the premise, and inspired me to add the fossils in the rock walls of his prehistoric lair.db

love the creature too my favorite part is either the scalely hand comming out of the water at the begining or the part where Kay Lawrence character is swimming with out ever guessing the gilman is right below her....

geez don't know how I missed this! I love the gill man and really dig your take on him. your julie adams is much curvier than in the movie (not that thats a bad thing)
