"The deep blue surrounds me, envelops me in its essence. Fish swim by without giving me any notice, as if I have somehow become a part of the ocean itself, something no longer alien to this watery world. As if I belong here. And maybe that's true."(An idea I'm developing)

I like the departure from the commonly-held idea that cats deplore water, though that's not to say this one doesn't hate water and isn't in the wrong place at the wrong time... perhaps I'm over-thinking it. Either way, good job.
