color contrast is great, and there are a lot darks and lights, This site appears more on the professional side but thats a great thing lol.

Great navigation! I like how every piece floats out of another and thus creating a look as if everything was one piece. What i like especially is the low opacity part in the navigation and login-bar to the right.
I wonder who might use this layout. The problem is, i think, that it looks crowded. It has a great visual design, but there is a little much everywhere and too little space somewhere. I really have to look carefully and with concentration at everything and even then i might not get what the website is about. So for a website with representational purpose i think the overview gets lost a bit in the graphically outstanding design.

Thanks for the thoughtful input. The design is actually a lot more spaced out, but being a commercial template what you're seeing is 75% of the full design's actual size (which, for this particular design, makes a pretty significant difference with regard to spacing -- at least to me).
