So I apparently can pull off alluring (sometimes)..I'm sure what was in that flask helped. This was at Wild wild west con 2, the steampunk convention in Old Tucson Studios.This photo is a slight apology because recently I went to the zoo....and I spazzed like a 6 year old and took a lot of photos. I also just finished editing them and will be posting them...so BEAR with me. Okay, I'm kidding....I only took a couple photos of bears and it was because they were passed out and they won't be included. I'm also not sorry for that pun, because I may or may not have snorted at all the groans that went off at the same time.
Eitherway, my bfg that I'm so incredibly happy about, even if it needs finished painting because I ran out of burnt umber, copper, and brass paint on this project. Eitherway, you all know the usual way I sum up my submissions, but it's 2 am and I'm lazy. My buddy Jessi took the photo and I edited it. Also I played the model wench for this.
The gun is made from 4 different nerf guns ban-sawed and spliced together. None of them were functioning and we decided to put them to good use. I do need to fix the tip of it though. I'm apparently too short to wield this thing without part of it dragging and so it got wibbly-wobbly with Timey-whimey.
Also yes, I should stop typing here, before this gets worse, but I live by no one's rules, but my own, which sometimes I don't like to live by.
Have I mentioned before how loopy I get when I'm tired?

Thank you, we did use styrene to help it blend in a bit more. Those hexagonal testicles were an eyesore.

Thank you, the truth behind the pose, that porch is at least four feet up and I had to get up on it like mounting a horse. So once I was up there I didn't want the staff to see me so I tried to stay low. It worked out in the long run.

The weapon is a great piece of work, and it looks like it would weight a metric ton. I'm looking into Nerf gun modding my self; would you discard internal components to reduce weight?

It actually wasn't that heavy. We did remove some of them, but even after holding it all day it wasn't too bad because I could rest it on the ground or my shoulder. I do recommend making a shoulder strap, for some reason that's the one thing I forget to do on all my weapons.

Very impressive! The size is one thing, but it's also quite elegantly pulled off. Extremely well-integrated. I love the umber tones. How big is it? Looks at least 4.5 feet, maybe closer to 5?

I think it's closer to five feet. It was originally supposed to be 6, but the extra part on the barrel didn't transition well and I'm kind of happy about that because the thing was already kind of dragging.

Landgrave had a lot to do with the inspiration of this piece. That and my compulsion to buy nerf guns for two bucks at thrift stores even if they don't work.

It came out blurry. 
Abney park actually got the best troll on him. During a break in their set they told everyone that whoever kissed him on the cheek in the next five minutes would get a free cd. He got swarmed.

That would be Arcko, he's proud of his baby. His character is a crypto-zoologist and so he uses various creatures to power his weapons. The gun has a squid in it named Persephone.

Absolutely, I'm trying to be more active. I'll pass on that you said that. Actually, this photo was taken by my fiend Jessi and it was her first time using my camera. We switched photographer roles so she could get her photos up there also.
