Description Hello there again!

Back tracking a little bit, but I've been meaning to put a couple more Tutu photos up, and this one has been floating around ^ ^ As you might know, and I went a bit nuts and had a photoshoot in the snow (she was a young Remus Lupin).

This was me attempting to do one of Ahiru's poses... for all you people who know ballet out there, my legs WERE pulled up, but as they're hyper-extended it makes it look like they aren't And if my fingers look limp, it was because it was a taaaad bit cold But anyways, I gave it mah best!

I'd love to one day! I don't have any plans for the near future (We're all busy preparing for the convention in a couple of weeks! ) But it's definitely not 'retired' - I hope it never will be!

Sure, I'm trying to do a retell of the story in a 8 or 12 panel art piece. So basicly i'm looking for specific pose's from which i will draw the panels from. I loved the look you have and the outfit you have, and thought you would be cute to have as my muse for this project. Its a project about full body emotion, and i think you would be perfect. If you would like to do it, i could start putting a story board together.

I'm very flattered you think I'd be able to help you in some way! I'm definitely not going to turn the offer down, because I'd very very much love to help you! But I can't promise I'd be able to get the photos done quickly. So, is it okay if I reply with a cautious yes? Seriously, I really want to help you, but because of pressures from studying and work I can't promise you 100% as I want to that I'll be able to give you the pictures quickly. In any case, I'd love to be able to see the stages you go through in your project; it sounds fascinating!

Project - The Red Shoes
Storyboard - Text
A young girl recieves a inherentance from a distant relative, a pair of red pointe shoes, little does she know that

by wearing them, they will have a profound affect on her life.



Panel 1

Frame 1

. girl standing in front of mirror trying to decide which leotard to wear to dance class.
. photo of girl holding 1 or two leotards
or
. photo of girl on bed doing homework, leotards strewn about, dance bag etc..
or both

Frame 2
. recives a certified letter
. photo - from inside home behind girl as she opens door - wears skirt try a couple of different angles

Frame 3
. signs for letter
. photo - of girl signing for letter. (various angles (high, low, medium)

Frame 4
. recieves a small shoebox size package.
. photo - of girl recieving package (various angles)

Frame 6
. reads letter informing her of an inheritence from a distant relative.
. photo of girl reading a folded letter. (a look of curious surprise on her face)
(try different poses - standing, sitting on floor, sitting in chair, sitting on bed, leaning against wall


(NOTE ALL PHOTOS SHOULD BE HEAD TO TOE. cROPPING AND PLACEMENT WILL BE DONE DURING THE ART PORTION. shoot various

angles. Avoid 'classic' posing when possible, be relaxed and natural (example sitting on a couch avoid the prim

proper sitting straight, legs crossed waiting for the date pose, most people when they are alone slouch or lean or

put one leg on the couch. Be relaxed and natural. You may not like the photo, but an artist loves the not so perfect

photo, its better material to work with, Wearing a leotard or spandex one piece, or bathing suit is best for photos

because it gives and artist a good base to work with. Don't worry about whats in the background of a photo, it's just

more material to work with. Bottom line is have fun with. A photo may add 10 pounds, but an artist takes away 20 !)


Sorry for all the instruction, just some pointers to help the model and artist work togeather.

All of these you can probably do in an hour or so.

I will send you the storyboard for the others when we get through this first panel ?

Great, We can do the poses and shoots in stages (a few photos here and there), so that it does'nt interfere with anything you are doing, No of the pictures have to be perfect, It's more important to have a large megapixile size photo to work with. Trust me this type of project is not quick. I will work on the text storyboard this week, then you will have an idea of how the photos will flow. Then we can work on it in small stages.

I already had the tights and shoes, because I do ballet, and then I styled my wig, added feathers, made the necklace and armbands and I bought the tutu I have a deviation/guide on how I made it with more specifics here, if you're interested ^ ^ [link]

Haha! Me neither! My friend managed to persuade me It wasn't actually that bad though - I was concentrating on trying to balance too much to feel it! But I'm very glad it's seemed to have paid off (I didn't have hot chocolate, but my friend's house was very nice and warm I love me some hot chocolate though. DO you like hot chocolate? )

Thank you very much! ^ ^ Yeah, it was quite cold, but my friend and I were having too much fun to pay attention to it too much! (though I did have a big coat and some boots to keep me warm afterwards!) I'm glad you like our picture!

Haha, thank you! I thought they were going to be the easiest parts of the costume to do, but it turns out that no-body sells plain gold beaded bracelets anywhere where I checked! I finally found the ones I have in a chemist like a week before the convention or something - it was a close one! So I'm so happy yuou like it!! >><

You and the photographer are awesome ^^ P. Tutu is in my top ten favorite anime and it always makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when i see awesome fanart and cosplay.

I'm AhiruxFakir all the way. ^^ i thought her reason to help Mytho was a bit shallow in the beginning. her relationship with Fakir is more naturally developed and a lot cuter. but then i also just think Fakir kicks more butt and is hotter than Mytho XDD not to mention Rue/Kraehe deserves a happy ending

Yes maaate!! AhiruXFakir yeah, to start with I didn't like Fakir, but then as it went on, he grew on me he seems so much more complex a character than Mytho (though I guess Mytho DID get his feelings/heart scattered all about the place so that culd explain it...)

Lol, i personally like Mytho a lot. I just think Ahiru's feelings for him were a little shallow in the beginning. I like her and Fakir's relationship better. not to mention he really cares about Ahiru herself rather than just be concerned about her like Mytho the Prince felt compassionate for every creature. d'aw... AhiruxFakir is just so much ~<3~

well perhaps it was easier because it was cold - not as many people were around! Though we did get some disturbing looks from some builders we had to walk past :S :S
