impressively worked chunk of steel, I like the look of spaciousness that it imparts. And the little swan heads at the ends of the curls, thats a cool touch, makes it more handworked seeming.

thank you thoughtful comments and for your attention to detail on my piece Manifest Destiny. I am especially proud of those forgings. The swan heads were each hammered out of a piece of 1"x 4"x 10 inches long solid steel. I used a 300lb. power hammer to shape the head, then finished it off by hand. The rest of the steel was bent cold on a fly press. I am glad you liked it.
