Back to my normal submissions.Remember the soft tickle of the sun on your skin?
The warmth that captures your heart?
The light your hands can never grasp?
And all the summers seem like hazy dreams of
your subconscious longing for peace,
laughter, and the green grass between your toes.
It won't be long until we are walking
the streets of summer again.
It won't be long until they are just a dream
of days gone by.

The vibrant tones in this piece of work are remarkable as they're not often seen in this style of close-up foliage photography. For that reason this is eye-catching and the fact that it is a well-balanced shot with some great lighting helps, too. Good stuff, this is: It feels like a little shard of Summer in these cold days.
