This is how I see Atsushi Sakurai in BUCK-TICK's The Day in Question 2004 Tight Rope performance. See him dance here.The song is already beautiful, Sakurai's stage performance only gives it more color and depth... looking so fragile and driven by passion...more than being about love, I find this song as something about how we chase for something we want, something that makes us ache---that feeling of desperation and abandon in reaching out to something that seems so distant, a road paved with sacrifices; the thrill of it all.

Glad you liked it! Sakurai-san is just begging to be chibi-nized (?) in this video. This song always makes me rise from my seat and dance around the house in tiptoes, pretending to be a wood fairy (like Acchan lol). Let's lose ourselves in the beauty of the world and daaaaaance!
