....to lose.It's done, yay!
This is my entry for 's FMA contest, I've never entered in any sort of contest before so I figured it's about time I tried....boy am I nervous.
There's probably a bunch of mistakes so I can't imagine even getting third place, still I'm hopeful.
This piece took me about a month and some to finish on and off, that's the longest it's ever taken me to finish a picture so it's like a record for me.
It's also the largest I ever made so I scaled the image down to size, hit download to see a bigger version. DO IT.

Wow. After starting at the picture for 15 minutes, I realized why Scar is having a stare-down with the roman numeral for 10. X3

I wasn't in the top three but I did get a month subscription which was sweet while it lasted.
Believe it or not I had to do alot of adjustments to him just so he'd look decent.

OMG!!!! This is wonderful!! And most of favourite characters are there!!!! It's really well doen, the flying numbers are awsome. I'd be trying to catch them!
It's also interesting how despite their closeness all the characters seem to be ignoring each other. Ed looks bored too, it's such a cute face!!

Yea, private reflection time in the freaky land of clocks. It must be a nice place to think, very peaceful and undisturbed. You know the whole thing seems to be very pensive and thoughtfull...... very reflective.

This is incredible. Amazing concept! I always imagined Roy as being shorter than Hoenheim (I think of him as not one of the tallest men), but I guess none of us really know. Fav!

Well actually Roy is shorter, he and Hohenheim aren't on the same plain, Hohenheim is farther back so it makes it look as though Roy is as tall as he is.
Roy is indeed shorter than other men....well except for Fuery.

How did you do the wood? I can't seem to get the texture right when I do wood. >_< ... I suppose I should practice and experiment more... and perhaps quit blurring when I don't think it looks right because that probably makes it worse (seeing that that clock definitely doesn't look blurred. ^_^" ).

Hmmm, it took me awhile to get the texture right. In the end I used an image of wood I've had for awhile and alot of cropping was done to get to look proper.

I had wanted the time on the clocks to represent each of them, Hohenheim for instance, him standing on the Grandfather clock represents how long he has been around and how little time he has left...at least that's how I see it.
