You don't know how i love this artwork. This in specific, my personal favorite. Great job, it looks amazing!
Well, this would be my fantasy story: For me it looks like a strong woman, who just fought against some other warriors who attacked and eventually killed them, though she didn't wanted that.Β
And she feels exhausted and sorry for what she has done. But there was no other way. So she will be moving forward.Β

I imagine she is thanking the God(dess) of Battle for the victory she enjoyed this day.

Really cool! Looks like she is the first Lady to swear her oath to become sister of the Night's Watch (George R. R. Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire')

Gorgeous. You sent it to my page when it was finished it and I posted it as Dacey Mormont of Bear Island ("A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin), remember*? The public LOVED it. It ranks among my most popular posts ever.

It seems to me that she is in the end of the far road. Road was hard. She is weary and worn out (sorry, it is hard for me to choose words, English isn't my native language).

It had been years, cold, long years since she had last knelt in this place. There had been fire last time, and blood. But for the first time since she was a girl, her chest beat with life, finally offering the blood of her father's killer to the sentinel snow, here in the place he had taken his last breath. Perhaps it was her imagination or the heady rush of long-suffered vengeance finally taken, but the pensive clouds seemed to shift as the face of a god pronouncing judgment and she felt it in her soul: acquitted. Free. It was finally done.

FEAR. She could sense it, smell it, taste it. it lingered in the cold air, tantalizingly vague, yet just enough to track. Her eyes remained closed, relishing this almost forgotten scent. After so long, to be able to experience this sensation was almost sexual. It was her drug, her addiction, her manna. It was the sign of a masterfully laid plan, an additional bonus. She knew she had to follow it soon or it would fade, but she thought "just a little longer... then I will continue."
The sun wore it's eons-old course through the sky, reminding her of how much time had passed. She lowered her head in shame, suddenly regretting how much time she had spent relishing the fear. But a small smile began to show, revealing her thoughts. "It was worth it. It will all be worth it, in the end."
=================
that's my humble offering to this very well drawn creation. Personally, my attention is torn between her and the mountain in the background, giving a sense of expectancy, like she is pausing briefly on a journey. Β don't know if that is what you intended, but it moves me nonetheless.Β

With the battle's conclusion, our heroine kneels in the snow. Tired, she begins searching for her missing contact lens. Though certain she lost it near this spot, the cursed thing remains invisible against the shimmering snow. She makes a mental note to find a diviner who can cast a finding spell upon her next pair of lenses.
Elegant piece, by the way. I struggle with backgrounds and remain envious of those who can paint them effectively.

I think I know her story. She looks like a character I have been developing. This would be the scene where the monster of a man who owned her for years of her life is at last dead by her hand, and every horror that had haunted her for years was at last washing away.

So beautiful, thats gorgeous....I imagine a girl who finally finds peace. Perhaps she had a village or a loved one or a friend that was killed, found the person and tracked them down. She didnt want to kill, but to honor that person she did...this is her moment after she gets her revenge, just before she starts crying for her loss and her act but also finding peace in revenge

The sword, her fathers. She kneels near his resting sight after a new snow. There ways are old ways. The way of thanking the universe through sacrifice. She's always been against this but honoring her father in this way is all that she knows. He was an honest man, or as much as any man in this world can be. He wished for a son but raised her as best as he knew how. She recites the words of her people and makes vow that his death will not be in vain. He will have his eternal rest but not before the deed is done. She will search and find the person or persons who took her father from her. no matter the cost.
