Trivia: Nova’s 1st physical debut is in WC S3E04 being a 1st-year Alfea student, so most likely 16 while Winx are 18 (Stella being 19). Her Winx form never debut in the WC show since she was never seen in battle. However, she has been seen doing basic first-level magic, such as levitating and magically turning a page of a book by moving her head to the side (S3E19). In Nova’s WC wiki page, her Winx form is displayed b/c u can find this in a WC book called I Want To Be A Fairy (2013). Nova (Fairy of Firelight) is a Light Fairy like Stella (Fairy of Sun and Moon), Amaryl (Fairy of Starlight), and Diaspro (Fairy of Gemstones or Fairy of Gemlight).

Trivia: Krystal 1st physical debut is in WC S5E03. Just like Nova, her Winx form never debut in the WC show. However, she has been seen doing magic with two significant moments being healing. For example, she uses Elixir Waves to heal Helia (S5E03) and the possibility of restoring someone’s memories although she failed to do this with Sky (S5E04). It was never officially confirmed in WC show if she’s a nature fairy, but she is the princess of Linphea, which is Flora’s homerealm.

Director's Commentary: Another one of my favs particularly last scene with appearances from some minor fairies and witch. I really wanted to put more WC characters in this as well, but ofc space limitation. The ones I’ve chosen are Nova, Galatea, Mirta, and Krystal, b/c they have a closer relationship to the more significant WC characters like the Winx, such as Galatea and Musa, Nova and Stella (which you’ve seen in FLM CH 7), and Mirta, Krystal and Flora (Mirta’s was more hinted of what’s she’s currently doing in the present from FLM CH 6). And yes, I want Flora and Krystal to be more like childhood friends.

Describe the scenes on this page.

After Bloom gets ‘attacked’ by Griffin (from last page), she tries to get up. Then, to her surprise, she sees Ogron, Icy, Obscurum and Tecna standing and protecting her looking in the ‘distance’. This also confirms Icy and Tecna are in their 2nd lvl of their respective races being Gloomix and Charmix (FLM CH 5). Last scene is another major battle like in the previous page with the Higher Leagues, but with minor fairies and witch being Nova, Galatea, Krystal, and Mirta all in their basic forms being Winx and Hexix (FLM End-of-CH 4 bonus). In this last scene bkgd, Darkar appears in the shadow, which btw u have seen him ‘walking around’ Crimson Flare since FLM CH 4.

What is your concept for Mirta’s Hexix form?

To me, witch forms are basic overall compared to fairies with heavy makeup. However, I’m not putting the letters like how u see with the Trix’ basic witch forms, b/c I think this aspect of the Trix is considered special. Actually, the letters on the Trix’ basic witch forms will be explained in their side or origin stories.

Mirta’s Hexix form is sort of like an experiment in how I’m gonna generally design for the other witches’ forms by looking at their civilian’s outfits overall. Then, I’ll ‘simplify’ them into their witch designs with ‘darker’ colors. To make these more individualized, it’ll have to depend on their other aspects such as characteristics, personalities, their magic, and so on.

What is your concept for Krystal’s Winx form?

For Krystal’s Winx form, she’s sort of like the ‘wild child’ aka opposite of Flora with more bright colors and exposed outfit just like her personality as u somewhat see here. I’m planning to make her more fun-loving, outgoing, happy, and sometimes impulsive. In a way, a ‘good medicine’ for Flora who is the more timid, shy and rather be ‘behind-the-scene’ sort of girl compared to Krystal. Again, I want them to be childhood friends, which you’ll see in their side story. Unlike the Winx forms for WC main protagonists, I want the ‘next-gen’ to be ‘different’. Like everyone ‘should be individualized in their own way’ aka don’t have to use the Winx basic forms as a ‘base’ for the rest of the fairies’ Winx forms.
