Trivia: One of Bloom’s Harmonix offensive, and most often used, spell is called Fire Blade, which is a wavy energy beam of fire.

Director's Commentary: Another fav drawing for this chapter, especially seeing Duman actually showing fear. Bloom’s Fire Blade’s design is pretty random as long as it represents the spell’s name’s sake.

What are the concepts to Bloom’s Fire Blade compared to the one in the show (trivia above)? Why the changes?

Again, Bloom’s ‘strategy’ on using her magic is mostly with ‘physical objects’ for now, such as her Flame Shield (now Fiery Shield) is thought of as an ‘actual shield’ in FLM CH 8. Here is pretty much the same concept as that except as a ‘laser sword’ as Bloom deduced on how to use her sword equipment given by Sky earlier in this chapter.

Again, there’s NO planning for the other transformations after WC S3 (MAYBE with some exceptions later on depending on how the story goes) to debut in FLM universe. To me, Fire Blade is one of the most generic yet very useful things to have. Again, b/c Bloom thinks of her magic as currently ‘physical objects’, this version can now change into different forms. Actually, Bloom’s Fire Blade in her Harmonix transformation is one of my favs particularly b/c it’s not a ‘generic blade’ and it was creative on how this spell’s attack being like a wavy energy beam of fire.

*saw Bloom’s Fire Blade*…what happened to the sword equipment she had earlier?

Eh, well………u can prob guess what happened to it

*Duman yield*…WHAT?! Duman forfeited the duel?!!! In the previous page, Duman’s ‘willpower’ bar is still pretty decent compared to Bloom’s. So, why?!!?!

Duman actually got frightened. Yeah, I know, shocking, isn’t it?! HOWEVER, wouldn’t u be scared when there’s a ‘blade’ right at your neck!? I mean even if Bloom’s a noob at her magic, she can practically slice his neck off in THAT close proximity. Not to mention, she got him pinned down. Also, with what happened earlier in the simulation, he’s weak as well. Did u notice his scar still hasn’t healed even when we’re out of the simulation?
