Your reaction is totally fair. Trapinch has terrified me ever since I randomly had a nightmare with one. As adorable as Pasteija is, it's safe to say she's not all that huggable.
I do the same thing with gyms. For the exact same reason. XD

The gameplay for this tun was finished aaaages ago already.
Often I kind of end up using only one or two pokemon during a gym, since most of the time if I have some pokemon that has an advantage against the gyms type out, and it still has decent amount of hp left, I'll just end up being like "Mehhh why bother changing the pokemon". We'll see how that went whenever I get around to drawing the next page xP
