A submission for a contest at . The elements that I have are mainly Water and Fire. I quess you can say earth too but had a hard time coming up with a wind element. Model is my lovely daughter and all photos are my own.Related content

GAWD I hate you...this is an amazing piece...You give yourself such a hard time.
I have to say though...you look at it from a technical standpoint for too long and you get wrapped up in the technical aspect of it...but I looked at it and immediately saw the actual art behind it...It speaks to me...it jumps out at me...
One thing interestign I noticed is that he thumbnail made it somethign I wasn't really looking forward to seeing but I'm glad I clicked it...it really says hello when you see it.

Eh...if there's anything overall I think your work lacks its probably a final atmosphere. I think all of your photo manips end up looking crisp and very technically sound which lends to an obvious CG look...perhaps with one of your previous ones or even a new one go back and try to put in some kind of soft focus or something on the final product to bring it all together at the end so to speak. How's that for a thought?

THe fire seems a touch weak by shape to me ...but hey whadda i know

Thank you and you are right the flames are a bit lame lol. I just added them in for the contest that this was in. I had this on my hard drive for about a year with the water but didnt kknow what else to do with it. I wish I was more creative.

I assure you that I did not steal your idea, nor was I inspired by it. I actually had this sitting on my hard drive for about a year before using it here for the contest. Oh btw you should watch your language when speaking to your elders.

and I agree with =sergiofx .... seems he just read my mind ^^... I can add to his commet that the lightness on the girl... its a little to bright with white light but the sky is red and is getting dark... u know what i mean?

Thanks and I agree with you. I always have my wife look at what Im working on and she said the same thing with the lighting. I did have a different sky at first but it didnt go with the fire. This is one of those pics where I was working on it for awhile and was tired of looking at it lol. I think I better get back to my dark art....its what I do best

Adding some hairbrushes might have made it look like wind is there too. But good job still, especially the dress turning into a waterfall, nice idea, and well executed. Keep it up.

the combination of the bride and the water is a work of genius, this is just amazing!
however, there is something that I dont quit liek about the fire behind... I dont know what it is exactly, but it seems as if it has nothing to do with the picture. Not in the sense of elements, cause yea, fire is an element, but... it seems as if there is something burning behind the trees, not the trees themeselves.. i dont know if that is what you were going for..
but great pic nonetheless, definitely gets my vote.

Thank you so much. I did want to add the element of fire to this pic and my idea was that there is an approaching forest fire and that the fire would do battle with the fire. As far as the trees not being unfire is because it has not reached the top of that mountain.
A couple of years ago we took a trip to Yellowstone Nation Park and they had a big fire there. I just remember seeing pics of how you can see the flames coming up in the background of the forest, so going from memory I created this.
