Just some practice with wings,shading and poses. I'm quite happy how it turned out. He appears to be very sensitive about being stared at. Better not look at him too long or he'll get angry XDI like how his colors turned out. Maybe I'll make him a character in my comic.

It depends really. I've been drawing dragons for years, improving little by little. I tend to try to find what bothers me most about my dragons, and try to fix that one thing. And practice of course. If you see something you like, don't be afraid to try it. I'm always looking at better artists to get ideas on how to make my dragons better.
