Another piece for my 100 Themes Challenge.

This piece actually came about because of wanting to draw a pose I saw in a comic story - and I had the pose sketched, so I formed an idea around this.

Nothing too fancy, but in the original comic story, Nala was walking home to the Pridelands after a failed attempt to find Simba. Obbiously that's a non-canon story, but it's a really good one. I decided to do a much more canon parallel - using (mostly) the same pose, this is Nala walking away after Simba storms off on her in the jungle.

The parallel is that because of Simba's refusal to acknowledge his responsibility, Nala is left feeling exactly the same as she would have done if she'd never found him - abandoned.

This took FOREVER to draw, I merged a few styles, used a lot of Charfade's brushes, and generally wanted to smash my laptop for the duration of drawing the background, so I really hope you guys like this!

EDIT: Also, can I just say: I freaking love this style. So comic-book. I love it.
