Shadow plays a part in this 'Sonic Noir' thing I mentioned in the earlier upload. His name is 'Trace Umbrage', and he's a private detective. I think. Maybe. It's still a little undecided. All I know is that he's old, past his prime, and has been asked by The Egg-Man to track this 'Cobalt' for him. Something like that. Who knows, it's still pretty up in the air. His origin will be kind of like that of SA2 in that he was once a rookie cop and not long after he started, he was involved in a hostage situation. Because of his inaction, he was the directly responsible for the death of a little girl. He blames himself for the rest of his life...yanno, something like that.

Anyway, the picture is sort of a scene from the comic, I guess. Cobalt leaves a ring on the door knob outside of Trace's apartment, which leads to this confrontation.

"You know...there are less, extravagant, ways to get my attention."

"Didn't see you listed in the white pages, I'm afraid."

"Mmm, of course. Listen...it's late, Mr. Cobalt. What can I do for you?"

"It's more of what you could STOP doing for me, Mr. Umbrage.."

Basically Cobalt finds out he's being tailed by Umbrage the whole time and..yeah. This happens. What happens after that? *shrug* We'll see. It's all still just concepts and ideas in my head.
