Definitely getting a sense that these are Rail-guns from design. Β The science behind those is actually fascinating and makes me wonder how the EM fields would affect energy based rounds.

Correct about the rail gun. But the type of hybrid gun that combining old school projectile and energy based weapon is something that I'd like to present here. Well, more or less.

Interesting. I guess theoretically (cause I'm the kind of need who overthinks these things) there could be some factor of the projectile that carry the energy along with it. Though Rail-gun style is definitely fitting for top tier weaponry. Awesome work!

I don't think I've ever seen a belt-fed laser weapon before. I presume it and the one with the M-16 looking magazine use some sort of expendable cartridge? A chemical or nuclear pumped laser?
Bear my ramblings no mind, though. These all look really kick-ass. I think I like the middle-left one the most.

It's not entirely laser weapon though (don't really mind the red laser visualization). Although there are high pressure energy launched (such as laser) it's still uses projectile to penetrate the armor. It wouldn't damage really much but those caselessΒ projectile is very useful to harm the type of targets utilizing heavy energy shield.
