You're welcome, the praises were well earned, I've been debating forever in buying a wacom but if this is what they can make I'm totally going to start saving up for one, this is truly a work to be proud of, i can see why you like it so much. I like roses myself, my favorite flower of all time, of course I think all flowers look nice even sunflowers, I'm sure they can be just as lovely if I actually saw one other than on cloth patterns.
No problem on the favorite, thank you for the beautiful art, do you mind if I feature it on my Gallery Feature that I do in my journal every night around 7? I would love to see this picture get featured and looked at by my viewers and also people who visit my page

Of course please I don't mind the feature, thanks a lot ^^
well, I am rather using a HUION H610 pro tablet www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKYDLp…
I was also debating in my head about going digital or not but I made up my mind thanks to a good friend ^^. I am really stingy because this is just a hobby for now...so I decided to get a HUION h610 pro, it cost around 90$, which is really cheap compared to the medium wacom (necessary for a comfortable drawing).
I have the Huion since February and so far it hasn't failed me...though you have to carefully read the installation instruction.
Besides, tablets are only hardwares, they act like the mouse but you use the tablet pen, but you need to use a drawing programme/software as well...and that is what Manga Studio is my.smithmicro.com/manga-studio…
You can also use other drawing programmes like GIMP, SAI or Photoshop but I am not sure they have as much decorative materials as Manga studio does.

So the tablet isn't anything on it's own you have to purchase a software to work it with, I have Gimp thankfully it's free but I do my manips on my ipod apps

yes, the tablet isn't anything on it's own...but it makes really easy to draw on the computer.
I also have GIMP but it doesn't have as much decorative materials as manga studio, for example it doesn't have a pearl brush...but there are ways to make custom brushes on GIMP so that you import the image of a pearl and then transform it to a brush
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D6rWr…
or you can also create your custom patterns www.youtube.com/watch?v=J22NUC…
though I tried all of these and I got a bugs on my computer so I had to delete and reinstall GIMP
If you feel like a little adventure with the tools, perhaps you will do better than me ^^ but I would definitely say manga studio (also known as clip studio paint pro) is better
PS: I saw in some shops that wacom tablet sometimes comes with a manga studio software licensed for 2 years, I do not know in your area though, but it's still expensive compared to buying a huion and the software separately ^^

It is a very big place indeed, I'm also trying to get used to it
It's good to want to improve and focus on your art, while also getting feedback as well~

Yeah, we cannot get better if we do not think of improving first, and I am positive there is always a next challenge level to everything so it's important to always look up for more and more...unless of course we are fully satisfied and accept to stay at the level we are.
I was thinking of asking criticism here but I've already came a long way from other websites and realised that I am the one who is really hard on myself and too much self-criticizing...lol...I am bit stressed about learning by myself right now but eventually I'll ask for criticism.

Indeed, if you don't work hard, you won't improve, but it's also not good too push yourself too much.
Though there are others who find their artwork/level satisfactory and just leave it at that.
Oh well, different people, different ideals/goals.
And yeah, peoples own selves are usually hypothetically their worst enemy, when it comes to criticizing their work/selves.
Hopefully you won't get stressed out and burn yourself out, you can always ask for help. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would be willing to help you improve and such.

Ah, thank you for the advice. I'll try practice my shading, then move up to colouring slowly.
Hopefully I'll be able to incorporate these in the near future
And yeah, I'll take your advice and trace it on the window/glass.
Hope it won't turn out too bad
