Description
A white stag said to be an immortal creature. He wandered the earth endlessly, discovering all there was to discover but remind restless still. All he ever knew would change and age around him, familiar faces fading away. Distraught the lonely stag cried to the heavens, praying to be alone no longer. Swayed by the stags sorrowful cries the heavens granted his wish and pulled the white stag into the sky to join them for eternity.
Centzonhuītznāhua (Cent) often looks to this constellation as hope and promise that one day he too will be able to join the stars in their endless wandering through the galaxies.
