PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS:The keyblade isn't for sale, and I don't offer commissions. There are dozens of tutorials online if you are looking to make your own, and there are always ones for sale on eBay if you want to buy one.
The detail work is not yet painted, but it is otherwise finished.
Made 100% out of plywood, except the chain which is plastic. It has been entirely hand carved with the occasional help of hand held power tools. This is my first keyblade ever (and probably my last) and I have absolutely no wood working experience. Painted with glossy black spray paint.
Please, I'm not looking for critique, I have already posted this on another website and gotten all the feedback I need.

How thick is it? Where did you get the wood? I can't find any plywood 1 inch or thicker.

I just bought regular plywood from Home Depot. To add thickness and β3-Dnessβ I carved some pieces separately.

Wow. Your actually the first one to actually give me the answer I was looking for. Everyone else was just like: I just got wood from the store. I was like: no dip. Haha I think I will need 1 inch by 15 inch by 42-43 in. I can't really find it, but they don't always tell online whether or not the dimensions are in feet or inches.

It's beautiful! I've been searching the best reference pic for my keyblade I'm starting to make, and this has to be the one. This is perfect. *w* Love it!
How much time did you spent carving it? Is it heavy?

I honestly didn't keep any kind of track on the time, if I had to guess about 50 hours? And yes, it is heavy haha

Ohh it's heavy noooo, I was hoping it wouldn't be. I'm not too strong to carry it around XD But I'll see when it's finished.
