Description

Bat/dragon wings done easy. Just a thin sheet of sculpey textured with tin foil to give the leathery appearence, then carefully placed over a wire frame. I roughly shape the wing skin before baking then carve along the edges afterwards to get a cleaner and more defined shape
After baking off the wing skin to get it to hold its shape, you then sculpt the arms and fingers over the wire, and there you have a quick and simple wing.
I cover my wire frame with cured car body filler to help the sculpey stick to the frame better.
