Thank yah, and it just takes time and practice. That is with a 28% and a 59% opacity level, depending on the color. I'd suggest that you do that, instead of using solids. It helps with the learning process. ^^

Well, its not dark enough though, so I might through in a bg, or at least a lighter panel in the bg to make him look darker.

cool. you should play around with all black back groung. see what happens. or if you want to keep the same compisition try slappy a moon or Bat signal behind it. i find that allways works with dynamic shots

Hmmm. Whenever I see batman I think of rooftops at night. I think that might work well with your darker colours, too. Then you could situate him on a dark spot and just have the outline of the city in the background. You could then put as much or little detail in the sky and windows/lighting on the buildings as you like!
