In the story we know for a fact there is this creator God which Sayandana knows to be real. He used to speak with him directly and see his physical form. I suppose you have to humble yourself and surrender your life to his holy words when you're faced with his reality, which Syandana is very sensitive too.
I think people would consider Syan more stupid if
if we weren't truly sure that such a God outlined existed
if Sayan was not the good looking, main characther👍: 0 ⏩: 0

If Syandana's a fool, then I'm marrying the biggest fool I've ever met. Its hard to feel sickened when you're warm and fuzzy from cuddles. I would recommend everyone get their own Syandanas, if they can handle it.

Heheh This page is so lovely! But I think my favorite is Syan just randomly frolicking around with his animal friends in the background! I just wanna hug his adorable little face! XD
Would you mind if I drew a fan pic of him for you?!

ahh i just can't think of Syandana as stupid, he's just too sweet and selfless
in all honesty it kind of makes me sad that his selflessness is now considered stupidity, so i guess conversely greed would be considered intelligence?

Well he gave up the cosmos and his only source of happiness just to separate a misbegotten creature which - to add insult to injury - didn't even showned any sign of gratitude, making his sacrifice all the more stupid. Now he is eventually starving to death to feed rodents - which would probably would get food elsewhere anyway - just becasue they saved a dog which has no use and probably should've died for incompetence.
It's like giving your house and all your bellogings to an ungrateful hobo who would kick you out and drink away everything you would own without even saying thank you... Could you be able to do that? What label would you stick on yourself if you would?
I think not only intelligent would not come to mind, but any kind of positive adjective neither.

Ultimate selflessness, then- to give up everything for someone who doesn't care, to sacrifice his food for someone who will probably have no use to him- his actions clash terribly with modern ideals, but I don't think that makes him stupid, a fool, etc.
((well, maybe a bit of a fool, but still mostly selfless, haha))

Actually it clashes with every idea in existence. Ideas are created by living, mortal creatures (technically he is one too) and for survival you need selfishness, like it or not. Those who think otherwise are either dead or dying. Even the idea of the Socialist Utopia contains the everyday needs of each individual. Even shaolin monks live their humble lives on believers' donations.
The mices are short-sighted vermins, gobbling up the entire bread each day not thinking that the rations would die with it's source, if they let him starve. Since Syandana isn't smart enough to think for himself, the mices aren't smart enough to think for themself Syandana literally trusts his life to fate by being utterly selfless, as if for example the girl would not try to feed him or the story keep him alive, the landowner would probably find his lifeless carcass in the barn one morning with perhaps the mices having the last feast on his expense (and corpse).
It's called natural selection. Creaturs who are unfit for life, die.
Buuuuuut, he is a main character so that would not happen... this does not make him less of a fool however.

his selflessness is more religious than wordly though, I believe? He's risking his life for his fellow creatures. Granted he's not doing it the smartest way, he could be a bit more prudent with his resources, but he means well.
I don't think he's putting his life in the hands of fate, though- he's utterly giving himself, spiritually and physically, to the Holy Lord and his teachings. The mice are little turds though, and I agree that they aren't being very smart with how they're taking advantage of Syandana as far as rationing goes.
I think he is fit for life, most certainly; even though his beliefs and actions clash with natural law and most morals, he's still worthy of life.
Haha, yeah, he is a bit of a fool though. But a good fool.

No doubt about his intentions, but in the end would not be the universe a better place if he would've been selfish a bit in his life and would not follow the Holy Lord's teaching without a thought. I mean being the ruler of cosmos could possibly made things far better for everyone than now... what's he done so far? Saved an useless dog, fed an entire litter of vermins and doing menial jobs for a jerk when he isn't mumbling all the names of the Holy lord... living the dream Syandana.
As for fitting for life, well barely... of course in this vast and scarcely populated world which basicly a food storage around him, he can survive with the means of survival in an arms reach he can live, like a worm in the apple. In another envoriment, such as the real world where this vagabond lifestyle isn't executable... well i think he have greater chances for survival in the Nazy concentration camps than being free.
So yeah, glad we came to an understanding

Eh, per governare ci vuole un certo pragmatismo, una certa spietatezza che Syndy non avrà mai. Mai letto 'Il Principe' di Macchiavelli?

Ehe he he... aren't you forgetting someone noteable, blueboy? Some deity that probably worth mentioning? Does the name Holy Lord ring any bells?
The only way your king shall return is by not wanting to return, thus you probably do better to befriend with Hyle and Kyle's management.
Anyway, splendid page as always, allthough i'm a little confused what benefits power can grant you in this world? (kinda of an obvious and pointless question at first) It's already established that there is a hierarchy both biologically and social in the "spirit world/other world/world without humans", but the deities power would not make that power... useless? If someone is literally a God, what does the others care about who wears the crown?
I mean the only reason they might have to see the Hylomorph siblings overthrowned is because they are jerks... as far as i know it. It's not like they would have resources or ideals to fight over or improve their already Godly life. The peons doing fine as well, i mean i didn't saw monoliths raised to their honour in the peasant village or to have any sign of Godly intervention or opression.
