Description i know we are a stretched out cell before mitosis
bound to stream east and west
for life cycles unfurled
drifting slowly and
endlessly away;
production like a whitewashed bubble
vermilion in your brain

and we are not identically whole
like achromatic egg shells
each with our own edges that cut til bled yellow
ending lives in determination
housing liquid bodies
then drowning in them.

we grow and fade from miles away
trickling down into our own flesh and ground
like shells, cells and everything else
that'll get us through the day-
even if jerked by science
and severed away
we are still in parts
of one same massive body.
