My favorite thing about fractals is how they play off our minds evolutionary advantages. We seek patterns from all views, even in places where they may not exist. And so it's possible for this nearly random assortment of colors to look like a view through a window, objects seem to have depth.

It's not fractal. It is generated out of a fractal, mostly because of the colors. It has no selfsimilarity, no depth. And i think you are right, in my opinion our mind is just a big pattern-recognizing-machine, not only visual but also for all other senses, emotions, language, logical thinking etc. Thanks for your comment

I'm not into the fractal art but this looks pretty interesting and tells something, I also like the colous.
As a thumbnail I thought it was a picture taken through an old, blind glass with raindrops on it, onto a street at night and the red back and yellow front light of cars.
