Hey, these are two seperate Fractals.
the "jellyfish" structure is a grandjulia. you can find some basic tutorial for grandjulias here dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20…
The rims are some heavily skewed transforms.
Oh, and i just noticed... the category for this Fractal was misleading. Its not raw fractals, but fractal manipulation! Fixed this.
