this is fanart I made of an old posthuman spec project called "Ao Oni" which is basically a posthuman seed world with a 400 million year chronological timeline. at the very beginning, dwindling packs of rabid dogs are mentioned as one of the early predators towards the first oni that was modified from a human. I thought it would be pretty cool to draw a dog hunting an oni. I also like to speculate what would happen if dogs didn't go extinct on the Ao Oni or at least last a little longer in the timeline.
