I thought I was on the verge of fulfilling my old dream of fly away and build a new life.I never realised it was all in my mind, far-off from reality.
--
So, my application for an Erasmus year in England wasn't accepted. On the contrary my flatmate is going to live 9 months in Spain, and I'm a bit sad.
The problem is I started to believe in this opportunity probably because everyone around me was sure I would have been chosen. So I was a bit disappointed reading I wasn't chosen.
It was a big dream of mine, but well you must carry on with life! :]
I hope there will be some changes in the near future and, in particular, that I will able to make the right decisions in the following months. In the meantime I'm going to study for this year exams at uni.
Probably I will go abroad in the summer, and who knows, next year it may be the lucky one to leave for some time!
Anyway, I must say I'm really sorry to avoid comments on my last works and journals. I don't have the time, so give me until July at least. Although I'm counting on coming back sooner!!!

Yes, I will come to England anyway but Erasmus gave me the opportunity to stay for 9 or 12 months! So I'm going to try again in spring.

Mhm I opened both the photo and the drawing in Photoshop and then I dragged the drawing on the photo as it was a texture and worked on both

What a meaningful and creative way to put voice to your disappointment and loss. While it is trite to say--but still true--this feeling will pass and you will be all the stronger for it; the end of one opportunity opens another. You know of course that dreams are etherial and come to us at night or in the bright sun and mimic reality for a brief time. How thankful they are not real when they become nightmares. May your life seem dreamlike to others but be real to you. Love and peace.
