I am sorry, my Clip is completely in Japanese. ^^° I am using one of the tools hidden behind the brush symbol. But most of my tools/brushes have not default settings any longer. Try out a smooth brush and then change the "blending" options

They're meant to serve as color palettes. The blocks on the side show what colors the artist used to get each ball.
