At first I didn't like her either, I thought she was simply an arrogant little brat with a passion for beating others up. Later in the game (and by reading the comic) I learned more about her and now I totally love her. She has been through more shit than most men can endure and is so deeply in love with Garrett that the only thing that keeps her alive is trying to gain his respect. Sadly, she doesn't really see that she does that the wrong way until it's too late. Neither does Garrett realize how much she feels for him until she almost died. It's actually a pretty sad story between them and I'd love to see more of them in Thief 5.
