It is, Grae. It's very rugged, dangerously so in places, and it doesn't get so flooded with visitors as you can see. I'm used to the region, being born and bred here, and I'll be rambling around these spots with my camera for as long as I can manage.

The Étretat area is the most similar...
If you have possibility to go I'm sure you will enjoy the fantastic scenery. Current Normans are more peaceful than their ancestors...

Well, we do get a lot of tourists from all over. I often go from mid-autumn till early spring when there are fewer people. Fortunately I know the less accessible areas anyway.

I should go there, Emilio, and not to disprove you, no - Because I can believe you. After all, the ancient Normans conquered Britain (Including Wales, my home now) with comparative ease following the year 1066. Those Normans in northwest France were the near descendants of Viking Danes who had invaded and seized French territory. They were very adept and skilled in warlike aggression. For them, capturing southern Britain was a proverbial walk in the park.
