Description couldn't help myself to make me a little Bitey. that guy is just too cute!
besides, i needed a sense of achievement. all my other figurines (and drawings) needs days to weeks (sometimes even months~~~ ;_ to be finished.
for him, i was able to finish him within 6 hours
and his eyes are even glowing in the dark.

if you don't know Bitey, move your backside over to biteycastle [link] and gaze in awe at Adam Phillips' great creation!
for he is the master!

again, made out of super sculpey. and he's ~ 12 - 13 cm tall

That just looks incredible.

I am gonna start my very own little slupting project as soon as i get the clay, i can only hope to make stuff as detailed as this one day.
Everything about your bitey is perfect. How does one make that hair structure?

thank you very much
fur / hair is actually pretty easy. is simply used a needle and moved it in wavy lines down the sculpey where i wanted the fur.

... seems a bit too easy
Do you make the sculpey a bit thicker where there's supposed to be fur?
The thing with your fur is that it has levels, if you know what i mean.

Another thing i would like to ask you is how do you make the strands that is not just lines?

I know it is a lot of questions but i am all new at this and you really know your stuff

i only used the skin colored sculpey for Bitey. if you talk about the strands on the head that stand up, then yeah, therefor i added a little bit of sculpey on top of the structure. but usually i just scratch it out with a needle. you're also able to get kind of layers when you scratch the sculpey different hard/deep.

Allrightythen
Thanks for all the helpful hints the reason i asked is that it kind of looks like the skin is deeeper than the fur but looking at the download i think i see what you mean. The brown color might help with the "illusion" too
Just gotta try once i get the clay i ordered.

Would you look at me, learning already
Again thanks a million for the help

I think he'd be hugely flattered. It's a very 'official' looking model, like the kind you'd buy in a shop

I knew I recognized him! Granted I only saw that Littlefoot flash once, it did make an impression. Maybe I should check out this dude's other stuff then since he has more.

for me, LittleFoot was also the first one i stumbled across. Adam Phillips has quite some awesome animations, but i thing his Brackenwood serial is the best
Bitey is just too funny
