I'm not familiar with ANSI, but it sounds like a difficult (and time consuming) medium. What you've got in your gallery is really impressive! Do you ever make ANSI art anymore?

It is indeed very time consuming... I may dabble every now and then, but I haven't finished a substantial piece for years, precisely because of the time involved... and that damn perfectionist streak of mine, which only gets worse (better?) with age.

It makes me feel like I'm either: 1) on some sorta drug and looking at my mom water plants or 2) looking at one of those black pieces of paper that you scratch to see colors. Very kewl. Many people have been asking how to make this kind of artwork, and I would be very elated to see new artists tackling the archaic medium... here is the link to an ANSI editor for windows: [link] ...anyone still working in DOS is well-advised to grab a copy of AcidDraw (google it and you'll find it). And of course, anyone going beyond the dabbling phase into releasing should have AcidDraw anyway, to polish their art for the true DOS look...
A wicked feature of Pablo is the built-in ability to start a server and get drawing with your friends! If you'd like help or support on where to get started (I'm NOT kidding when I say it is one of the most challenging mediums to learn) I suggest you drop in on channel #ans on EFNet IRC. Good luck!

Its refreshing. Theres not much i can see that could make it better. Other than an idea, you could probably add some intresting smoke effects towards the bottem of it, but by using horizontal lines instead of vertical. it would give a nice contrast and mabye add more depth.
