My second time ever trying to draw Tanya. First time I sketched a drawing of her, I gave up the drawing. But this one I decided to finish. xDThe colouring is done with colouringpencils (Faber Castell colouringpencils).
Let's say this is a kinda late Happy Birthday gift for my dog, Tanya, who turned 10 years last Thursday. <3
The colouring is much softer in real, the scanner kind of made the fur look.. dunno crappy. D8
Please do critique me if you want to. But please do be kind and not to harsh. >u<;; I'm not that used to drawing realistic. But I'm kinda getting into it, and it makes me want to try drawing realistic more often. :3

So pretty! *w* I love the softness of the whole pic and allso I think it's realistically correct. I can imagine this pic to be in those dog books I used to read when I was a kid, there were so amazingly drawed pics of all dog breeds and I really loved the way how they were done. They were allso done using coloringpencils and in so pretty way like this. ^ 3^

Indeed, you do have the base colours down. However, you lack shadows and thus lacking volume, making the front paws look....out of place? There are a few mistakes here and there, like the hind leg (either should be further in, or the body larger), and i couldn't see the actual back legs themselves.
You did, however, nail the ears and the eyes (a good thing), but then again, a little more shadow and volume could improve this piece of work much more.
I hope i wasn't too cruel with critics, so don't hunt me down, >.<

As for the paws, they were really difficult to see in the picture because she was practically buried with crass, so it almost hid all her paws (the back foor/paw was completely hidden). It was difficult to see the shading on her front paws. "/ And her paws are white.. and I don't like using the gray colouringpencils, because it just looks kinda weird. Any ideas? XD
As for the other things, I'll try to get it better next time. I'm thinking of maybe drawing Tanya again sometime. :3

User darker colours instead of black/grey, like dark brown or something.
