Description This was my first design assignment in college, Dots Drawing. Basically I dotted away at the same piece of paper for a long, long time, until I went all dotty. The photo quality isn't very good.... My scanner is pretty small you see.
I'm not happy with the Chinese characters on the bottom left, still need to work hard on my calligraphy....
Any pointers? They would help me greatly, thank you!

Ah, dots are so much fun. Maybe it's just our sadism coming out, haha. Love all the swirly lines, the composition, the flow of all the elements. I guess the only thing I would suggest, in reference to this piece, would have been to add more of the Chinese characters on other parts. Not too much, since it would just make the whole thing look extremely busy, but maybe just shadows and hints (kind of the same tone as the spots on the fish, or lighter if possible) of characters within the white bands on the upper right. It would unify the two sides better.

Yeah..... I think I took about 12 hours, 2 hours everyday. ^^ But it was the assignment that I enjoyed the most.

I find it's better to plan ahead and if something unwanted happens, I just pretend I wanted it that way in the first place. It works for me, because I'm a big coward sometimes. >____<

lolz looks good. but the chinese words are a bit blurry, other than its good. not much fault other than the ink blots here and there.
