A whole forest growing in the dark, only lit a few hours a day by the direct sunlight, and yet every inch of the trees are growing towards that fleeting moment of heat and light. The trees are like frozen in a longing that looks like hope - spending the majority of its time in the darkness, they could have adapted, yet their entire being is twisted, torn, subjugated to those instants. Eternal supplicants unaware of the blooming forest right above that expands joyfully in all directions, beaming in the sunlight for hours on end.
