Description EDIT: I decided to name her Alare. That means "wing" in Italian <3


Epic title is epic. Haha.

I really felt like drawing a gryphon since I love them but in the last moment I changed my mind and drew a Hippogriff instead (eagle&horse mix).

I still have neither a name nor have I decided on a gender for this sweet guy/girl but he/she already has a story:
When fighting with a random dragon, he burned the hippogriff's wings so that the top parts were damaged for the whole life long. New feathers aren't able to grow there anymore so the hippogriff is unable to fly proplerly.

Drawn with various pencils.
I really like the result, very detailed <3 But it took a lot of time as well.

Hippogriff! This makes me think of Harry Potter now. I really like how you've drawn the details of the feathers and the front legs look very cool. The head has character and looks nice with those feathers coming out of it. While I understand the idea of the burnt wings I'm thinking it might look a little better if you had a transition area from skin to feathers because it looks a little odd having a section of skin and then a sudden change to feathers.
