...Does it need to be said that it's perfect? The lips, perfection, moist and all. Hair, Beautiful. Skin tone and depth, on level with the best. When I really look close, the left eye seems a little off, though that could just be because it's realistic.

You can see the painterly effects, with the strokes and the slightly painted look, and yet the realism of the piece overwhelms all doubts as to the amount of feeling you put into this piece. I really do like it, and it's one that I wish I could do, but I'm still learning colour, and how to use it effectively. I could probably do it with pencil, but that's just about light and dark. I find colour is something else all together, because you have not just the light and dark, which you can chieve merely with 2 brush strokes, rather than building up a dark area by continually rubbing a pencil over it, but there's the also very different texture, different colour shades and a lot of other things which I am discovering how to use as I go along.
Perhaps one day I could hope to achieve something of this quality, this visually pleasing, but that day isn't today.
