This is the work in progress of a sculpture commission I'm doing for kobweb of their esk !It's been in this state since Christmas, I'm just waiting on my sandpaper to arrive so I can smooth it out before painting. In the meantime I thought it would be fun to upload what it looks like pre-paint and pre-sanding, just fresh out of the oven.
I feel like I've improved a lot since my first esk sculpture , I'm really proud of this as my third esk attempt!
This was made using super sculpey polymer clay.
Not going to score it yet, as scoring will come when it's painted. : )

wow the detail in the flowers is incredible, and the mane looks so soft and it flows nicely with the body. the entire sculpture feels like a painting in how the tail and mane cascade. i really love this and i am glad you are proud of this. thank you so much!
