2012.Fan art for TES V: Skyrim.
Brand-Shei, who has been framed by the newest member of the Thieves Guild, is in Riften Jail, sharing a cell with Romlyn Dreth, who could have been thrown in there after the same n.m. of the T.G. ratted him out to Indaryn.
Note Bene: the said n.m. of the T.G. is a descendant of the Champion of Cyrodiil.

You're welcome. But I did not send these two to jail. My High Elf, who's ancestor was Champion of Cyrodiil, helped Brand-Shei, while my Wood Elf Archer/Swordman, who fell in love with Romlyn, helped him and married him. I wonder, what if my High Elf, who aided Brand-Shei, helps Romlyn? Will be they friends, unlike their ancestors, who were enemies?

As a Dark Elf thief... I PURPOSELY fucked up the job... If fake miracle cures are brynjolf's best schemes... well then... No wonder the guild was a craphole of fuck ups when I arrive hehe!

I purposely botched the job just to avoid losing a vendor. One of the girls in town fell for his scam, though, and has a bottle of the Falmer's Blood Elixer by her bed. XD You can take it and it will respawn so you can take another. I plan to have a few around my house.

It's cute. It doesn't add a lot if you're hoping for quests and such, but from an RP standpoint it's really cute. I have a new home with my husband and our two adopted children, and have to defend the house from attackers. I've mostly had to deal with Giants, but had a group of bandits show up, too. Haven't yet had kidnappers or skeevers show up. It adds some new foods and seems to add a couple new clothing items. My kids have given me a couple of different robes I don't remember ever seeing anywhere else in the game.
It's given me some good ideas for pictures, got a couple drawn up already. ^_^

I can never betray Brand-Shei. He's WAY too cool. His Telvanni past strikes home for me, since back in the OG days of Morrowind, my primary character was a Dunmer Telvanni spellsword. ><

I think that there is a bug in-game (at least in the PC version) that makes him stay in Riften jail for ever and ever, but I use my super powah (namely, the console) to get him out of there shortly after completing the quest - because one does not simply join the Thieves Guild through a rather unpleasant sacrifice.

lol That's fun. Reminds me of some of my friend and I's antics on the PC version of Morrowind. My brother found out by mistake that you can fail the Brand-Shei-setup quest and still get into the thieves guild. So every time I have character join,I start the frame job quest, play dumb and fast travel to a couple cities, and return. Brynjolf doesn't even really get mad. He blames it on the luck the Guild's been having and gives you a "well, that's ok" mini speech. lol

Don't even have to go that far. Take the ring from Madessi's strongbox, then put it right back in. Go up to Bryn and tell him you lost the ring. He'll do the "guild's bad luck" comments and then still let you join. That's how I handled it this time, after I found out Brand-Shei never gets out of jail.
