Since it's 's birthday, I thought I'd draw Master Tryllcian, a fearsome arachnid alien from her sci-fi novel, Spyder in the Cracked Mirror (which I own a signed copy of, and would recommend to anyone who likes science fiction and YA adventure books!).Related content

A nice balance between soft areas and sharp highlights. The red eye? is very effective but could have been a little bit bigger perhaps. Love the diagonal lines of the spider web and the face. It makes for good composition. You have made Tryllican both alien and eerily human.

You're right. It could be it's supposed to be that size. From a visual point of view it would have been nice to have it just a little bit bigger. But, it's all in the eye of the beholder...

You just made my day! Master Tryllcian looks very creepy here, the way you focused on his 'temple eye'. Wow. I got a chill up my spine when I first saw it. The webbing and the small highlights on his face are very nice touches as well. I love it so much! Thank you Norroen! *epic hugs*!!!
