AAO-41 "Axel" Humanoid-type attack unit

Deployed as the multi-role combat unit in the Earth militaries (it can function in space and on the ground), the "Axel" HTAU is armed with many things and the most capable of its class.

When the split happened, many Axels operating with the rebels degenerated and were typically kept together by spare parts and custom pieces (and decorated with custom artwork). Imperial machines were upgraded on steady maintenance programs that frowned upon customization- which got Imperial gunners into trouble in some cases.
