Description 20 minute speed sketch. Battletech obviously.

I doubt the Timberwolf can go as fast as implied here, but I don't care. It's always been the perfect battlemech to me.

I always got the impression of proper speed in MW2, supposing you strip out a few weapons to up the engine rating a bit. Used to love using the Jenner's blinding speed, with just one or two Medium Lasers.

Jenner? did you ever run a Fire Moth?

Speaking of speed, some guy put together a 10 ton quad mech that was essentially a mobile TAG spotter for artillery. In-universe, it could attain a speed of Mach 0.5. In game terms, it's maximum movement points was 58. Munchkins indeed: [link]

Still I always imagined the Timberwolf doing more than it is apparently capable of in fiction or on the board. Ah well.

Never really did, though that thing could get some crazy speed.

Meanwhile I recall serving as a NARC beacon boat back in my MW4:Mercs clan days - I think that was in a Shadowcat. Used to love announcing for the 5-7 other clanmates to launch their many LRM20s once I had a target successfully NARC'd.
