I like the rugged practicality of your knife. It reminds me of the edged tools I recently saw in articles about a Vietnamese man and his son who lived in the jungle for 30 odd years after fleeing a massacre in the Vietnam war. They made sickles and knifes like this from scrap metal and natural fibre bindings with wooden and bamboo hafts.
