!!edit: I redrew the character because I really wasn't happy with the look of Rye at all, the perspective was weird, the face was weird, and for some reason it didn't look like my art style either lmao!!

OC-tober Day 17: OC with a tragic backstory

Poor little Rye is likely my saddest character. She lost most of her colony, including her parents and siblings, in an avalance and only barely managed to survive herself. She was stuck in a large snow hole that she couldn't get out of herself and was eventually rescued by Flax, Dandelion, and Zephyr (here's a very old group picture of them: fav.me/d8y6hen ). Rye's painfully shy and quiet because, let's be honest, it was a pretty traumatizing experience and she just misses everyone so much. Flax has taken on somewhat of a motherly role for her and tries to take care of her while they travel.
I miss all of Quinchona (the world/ roleplay forum) a whole lot and wish I could revive it with all the people again, it was a lot of fun! But honestly, I miss all of the roleplays I was a part of back in the day.
