"After claiming their tag team titles, Corsairs had new set of responsibilities. One of them was promoting the tag team division through fighting other teams in non-title matches from time to time. Their first opponents since claiming the title were a pair of newcomers - a sibling team of Jacinthe "Jaxi" and Mercredi "Merc" Velineaux known as Sand Sharks. In terms of skill, they were below Corsairs, especially poor Mercredi, whose inexperience showed in his shyness and how easily Swashbuckler flustered him. However, they showed much promise as they fought valiantly against the reigning champions. Jaxi herself showed she has what it takes to compete in Leviathan after managing to land some decent hits on Buccaneer. However, while Sand Sharks were new to Leviathan, neither May nor Carmilla held back. They had to show they are champions of Leviathan for a reason. Unfortunately for Jaxi and Merc, that meant they were for a world of hurt.

While Sand Sharks put up a valiant effort to fight the Corsairs, ultimately May and Carmilla dominated the opposing team in a stellar fashion. May crushed Jaxi after regaining the momentum, while Carmilla more or less turned Mercredi into her plaything in the ring, teasing him and putting him through submission holds. The match ended after Corsairs decided to finish off both Sand Sharks at the same time with Muscle Buster, nearly knocking them out at the same time! In such state, they were ripe for a pinfall. This stunning display of power was one of first reminders Corsairs gave that day to any would-be challengers - no matter who you are, you will be in for a world of hurt when you oppose them!

After the match, May and Carmilla carried the Sand Sharks backstage to let them rest after the match. They deserved it after all the pain they put them through. And, as they carried them, they gave Jaxi and Mercredi some advice where to improve as they saw much promise in them and welcomed them to Leviathan.

Hopefully, it will be of any use to them. Corsairs wouldn't mind facing Sand Sharks in the future once they improve."

This artwork was commissioned by my friend, . It is based on the RP we had in Leviathan, where Sand Sharks were booked to fight against the current reigning tag team champions of Leviathan. While May and Carmilla are nice girls, they don't mess around in the ring, as you can see with Jaxi and Merc.
