Personality: Akemi Igarashi is known for her determination and positive attitude in spite of impossible odds and series of failures. Although she is pretty much a jobber due to losing most of her fights (many of them in a rather humiliating fashion), she tries to keep her spirits high. There are times when this is particularly hard to do. But, her dream of becoming a wrestling star, and support of her friends help her endure and carry on. Despite her poor performance on the ring, she has so much potential. With a proper mentor to train and guide her, Akemi the jobber might become one day Akemi the Champion...

Akemi has an uncanny talent to befriend others, including Heel wrestlers who love to humiliate and use her as a training dummy. Alison Vale and Ebony were such wrestlers. Perhaps, due to Akemi responding positively to their lewd antics on the ring, these two grew interested in her. Ebony in particular noticed that Akemi might be in fact unpolished diamond of wrestling that is just begging to be polished. While not busy practicing wrestling moves and/or kissing Akemi, Alison and Ebony love to spend time with her and supporting her to continue her wrestling career.

Backstory: Akemi was just a simple girl from Japan, who moved with her family to New York. She had not so simple dream - to become a wrestler. While her enthusiasm, determination and optimism were high, she lacked proper training. As a result, instead of her desired victory in her debut match, her opponent wiped the floor with her. The subsequent defeats marked her as a jobber, much to her despair. She tried to stay positive and train more to turn things around, but after being used by Heels as a training dummy during official matches slowly started to make a dent in her optimism. If it weren't for a chance meeting with May Rodriguez and Alison Vale, Akemi Ikarashi would've quit wrestling altogether in shame.

It was Alison, who first noticed that Akemi has potential to improve and become MUCH better wrestler. Despite dominating her all match, Akemi managed to land solid hit on Alison and even put her through a submission hold. It was no problem for Alison to turn this around however. But, she was impressed nonetheless. After she stopped doing her usual thing to her like with most defeated opponents her post match, Alison asked Akemi to meet up with her in locker room, as she had something important to discuss. There, Alison recommended Akemi to contact her friend May Rodriguez and talk to her about wrestling courses. When Akemi asked her why she was suggesting this, Alison replied that she was impressed with her attempts at fighting back and expressed her desire to see her improve. Alison admitted, that she saw potential in her and it would've been a waste for her to quit before realizing it. Those words of kindness, from her opponent no less, made Akemi reconsider quitting. Shortly after, the two became friends.

While taking May's wrestling courses helped a bit, Akemi still has a long road ahead of her. She will need a mentor, who will train her in private in wrestling, to bring about her true potential. But, who? Unbeknownst to her, she has already drawn attention of certain people...

And here she is. The jobber of my wrestling girls roster (for now), Akemi Ikarashi! One day, she will live up to her nickname "Typhoon" and will dominate the ring. But, for now, she'll have to endure more defeats on the ring, especially from the likes of Alison and Ebony.

She was parially based on Sakura Hagiwara from "Wanna be the Strongest In the World!" Although she knows how to sing, she was no pop idol. What she and Sakura share are very poor beginning at wrestling and eventual rise to wrestling stardom.
